Our story
Centri (formerly Security Blue Team) was founded by our CEO, Joshua Beaman who began his career as a cybersecurity analyst and wanted to make learning more practical. After struggling to find the hands-on training he needed early in his career, he began creating courses that focused on real-world challenges rather than theory. What began as a small online initiative on a subreddit, has grown into a trusted global platform that continues to help professionals and teams develop the skills to detect, respond and investigate effectively.
Our growth
Since its beginnings, over five years ago Centri has grown significantly in both size and reach. We now employ people across multiple countries and provide cybersecurity training to a wide range of individuals and organisations worldwide, including governments, military units, law enforcement, CERTs, banks, managed security providers, and educational institutes.
As well as our highly regarded certifications, we also created Blue Team Labs Online , a gamified training platform and cyber range that helps analysts sharpen their skills through realistic, engaging challenges and investigations across key areas of cybersecurity domains.
