Hands-On, Well-Structured BTL1 Training That Builds Real SOC Confidence
What I like best about Security Blue Team is the practical, hands-on approach. The BTL1 course does not stay only at the theory level; it gives you real investigation scenarios where you work with logs, PCAP files, threat intelligence, MITRE ATT&CK, incident response steps, and tools such as Wireshark, DeepBlueCLI, MISP, and TheHive. I also appreciated that the training is structured in a way that builds confidence gradually. Each module connects well with the next one, and the labs help you understand how blue team work is actually performed in a real SOC or security operations environment. It is a very useful course for anyone who wants to move from theory to practical cybersecurity analysis.

Structured Learning Pathway with an Intuitive Management Portal and Strong Support
ecurity Blue Team provides a consistent and structured learning pathway for both new and experienced staff. Having all team members work through the same material helps establish a strong baseline of knowledge across the team, which is highly valuable. The management portal is intuitive and easy to use – assigning users to certifications and tracking their progress is straightforward and efficient. From a pricing perspective, Blue Team Level 1 offers good value for money and feels appropriately aligned with the content provided. The more advanced courses are higher in cost, which can make them harder to justify at scale, but they are useful for targeted development of specific team members. Onboarding and ongoing support are strong. Account managers are responsive, and the overall process (including purchasing and administration) is simple. The platform itself is reliable, with very few performance issues reported by our team.

Well-Structured, Lab-Focused Course with Solid Content
The exam and the course are structured well, with plenty of labs and solid content. Unfortunately, the material provided on its own isn’t enough to feel fully prepared for the exam. A simulation of the real exam as the final lab would have been interesting and very helpful. Compared to the BTL1, this course has the same quality—maybe even higher because of the lab-focused approach—but it’s also about 10 times harder.

Practical, Real-World SOC Training That Builds Strong Operational Skills
What I find most helpful about Security Blue Team, especially through the CSOM course, is the practical and operational focus on real-world security operations and monitoring activities. The course helps build a strong understanding of how SOC environments function and how analysts investigate, detect, and respond to security events in practice.

Engaging Learning but Limited Cybersecurity Scope
I find Security Blue Team helpful for gaining practical experience with tools like Splunk and Autopsy, and for learning digital forensic concepts. The course offers a systematic way to learn about the blue team concept. The exam itself is interesting because it feels like a reward scenario, where you're given scenarios and need to conduct investigations, making the process of solving problems engaging.

Great Cybersecurity Training with an Accessible Technical Level
I enjoyed the technical level when teaching about cyber security; it kept things at a fair level that anyone could start with. Overall, it was easy to use and straightforward to navigate.
