Security Blue Team is now Centri
What started with our CEO, Josh Beaman in his garage, creating practical, hands-on cybersecurity training to help people build real-world cyber skills, has grown into a global community of learners, practitioners, and organisations.
From the beginning, the focus was never just on certifications or theory. It was about helping people develop practical skills they could apply in real cybersecurity environments, whether they were trying to break into the industry, develop professionally, or strengthen the capability of their teams. That practical, community-first ethos still sits at the centre of everything we do today.
While Security Blue Team began with a focus on blue team training, the business has continued to evolve alongside the wider cybersecurity industry. Today, we support a much broader range of cybersecurity learning, certifications, and capability development across multiple areas of cybersecurity.
That’s why, from 1 June 2026, Security Blue Team becomes Centri.
Centri reflects both who we are today and our ambition to be central to cybersecurity learning and capability development across organisations, while keeping the same hands-on approach, leadership, and community focus that people already know us for.
What’s changing and what’s not
From 1 June, you’ll start to see the name Centri across our website, platform, communications, and email addresses as we transition to the new domain.
We will be moving to centri.org, but your login details will remain the same, and the existing securityblue.team domain will continue to redirect.
Alongside this, some areas will continue to use the name Security Blue Team for a short period while updates are completed across all systems and materials.
The team, leadership, platform, and learning experience all remain the same. Existing certifications remain fully valid, and there are no changes to your access, content, or progress.
While the name is changing, the practical, community-first approach Josh built the business around will continue to remain at the heart of everything we do.
